Hey, my name is Camron Allen and I am the founder of Gremlins AutoWorks LLC. I have 8+ years of hands-on automotive experience and 4+ years with customer service. After recently graduating from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with my B. S. in Aerospace Engineering, I landed my first engineering job bringing me to West Palm Beach, Florida. I am originally from a small town in southeast Georgia and spent much of my youth in the shop with my dad working on cars.
Hey, my name is Camron Allen and I am the founder of Gremlins AutoWorks LLC. I have 8+ years of hands-on automotive experience and 4+ years with customer service. After recently graduating from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University with my B. S. in Aerospace Engineering, I landed my first engineering job bringing me to West Palm Beach, Florida. I am originally from a small town in southeast Georgia and spent much of my youth in the shop with my dad working on cars.
Within a few weeks of moving to West Palm Beach I ran into a simple mechanical issue with my car leaving me stranded. My options were to pay a towing company to transport the car to an auto shop then pay the shop to fix the car, or to call a mobile mechanic. After calling 8 different mobile mechanic companies, only one answered and was going to charge me $250 for a diagnostic when I already knew the issue was simply just a loose hose clamp. As a fresh college graduate, saving money is crucial so those choices were not an option. Knowing I had tools to fix the issue, I was going to Uber to my apartment and back to the car to fix it myself, that was until I saw the $35 price for 2.8 miles round trip so I started walking. At the end of the day I got my steps in, fixed my car, and saved hundreds of dollars. This brought to my realization that I could use my skills to help others in situations like I had just experienced and not cost a fortune. That is what started Gremlins AutoWorks LLC.
